我的问题是：
1. 介词短语on books I could get hold of中books前没定冠词the适合吗？
2. 本句的句式结构问题，逗号前是“主句+状语从句”，and连接并列的介词短语“with one wall…”作a house的后置定语没问题，问题在逗号后，没并列连词，逗号后有另外一个谓语，这个句子没问题吗？
