我在托福长难句资料上看到如此一句话：

resolution：分辨率。
我的疑惑是：这里的possible如何理解，干什么成分。我觉得是多余的，去掉它好理解多了。
句中的possible是adj,形容词还是n.名词呢？若是adj.形容词，那我真是非常困惑，麻烦讲解一下；若是n.名词，那我大概能理解。
