今天给大伙讲讲写作中关于“大家”的使用方法。大伙在写作过程中最常见的一个单词就是“people”。甚至在一整片文章里面全都是“people”，给人一种很重复累赘、毫无新意的感觉。却不知，英文文采好的第一特征就是“换词”，也就是用不一样的表达方法来表示相同的意思。
下面，我给大伙列举下在作文里面，你常常可以用到的表示“大家”的词语如下：people，person，individual，human beings，one，those who，population，the public。那样，这类词语怎么样不同，在什么场所下应该选择什么词语呢?
1) people: 作“人”讲时，是集合名词，表复数定义。说“一个人”时，不需要 people。当表示两个以上的人时，可用 people。如：twenty people 二十个人。people作“民族”解时，有单、复数之分。如:a people 一个民族。There are 56 peoples in China.
2) person: 它泛指 man，woman 或 child 中的任何一个，其复数形式是 persons，但大家习惯用 people 代替 persons。“一个人”常译作 a person，而需要说明一个人的性别时，要用 a man 或 a woman 来表示。
3) human being: 一般是用来指其他人或整个人类，不考虑性别。表示“人类”这个物种。一般提到“地球”、“宇宙”或者“动植物”时，作为一个对应的定义存在。譬如：1.human beings are the dominant species in this planet. 2.That's one small step for man, but one giant leap for human beings .
4) individual: 可作名词，表示“个人”。一般跟“集体”、“国家”相对应。强调每个人，等于“every single person”。譬如：this newly introduced policy is going to have profound influence on individuals.
5) one: 不定代词，泛指“一个人”，一般后面跟一种特征，指的是“拥有这种特征”的一个人会如何。例子：one who refuses criticism from others is unlikely to succeed in life.
6) those who: 这两个词一般连用，表示“那些...人”，使用方法跟 one 相似，只是 one 表单数，those who 表一群人。例子：those who break the law should be brought into justice.
7) population: 指“人口”;也可以用来表示“全体人民”、“国民”，强调一个整个国家人民的“整体”的定义。譬如：Mandela gained support from the population by his charismatic endeavors and speeches.
8) the public: 公众，表示社会上大部分人。This action of deception comes under heavy condemn from the public.
假如大伙能活用上述 8 个表示“人”的词，你的作文肯定不会陷入不断重复“people”的泥潭。
